Elle Magazine - Crowns   Slim Barrett has many times been called 'the King of Crowns' and referred to as the artist who created a fashion for crowns and tiaras. Early in his career Elle magazine championed Slim's crowns in their editorial stories featuring the Baroque coronet  which has since been acquired by the Victoria & Albert museum for their permanent collection.
