We understand, however, that there may be a situation where you wish to return or exchange your order. We are more than happy to offer you a full refund or an exchange for products that have not been worn or tampered with. All our jewellery comes with tamper-proof packaging so please do not remove any security tags or the original packaging before wearing your purchase. We cannot refund or exchange any returned items if their original tamper-proof packaging has been opened or damaged. All items that have been worn or damaged cannot be returned or exchanged.
How to return an item to us
Step 1: You must contact us at
within seven (7) working days; beginning on the day after you receive the Product(s). We will then issue you a Return Authorisation Code (RAC).
Step 2: Once you receive the RAC from us, please write the number on the front of your package and send your returned goods to us within 7 days of obtaining the RAC. We will provide you with our return address in the UK. All returned items must be in their original condition together with your invoice or Internet receipt. Please note that the packaging or the security tags must not be opened or tampered with or a refund will not be issued.
You will be responsible for all return shipping charges. You must make sure you send the items by registered post that can be tracked. You will also be responsible for the postal insurance of the goods during shipping until we receive them.
Please retain your proof of posting and the tracking number until your refund has been processed.
Step 3: Upon receiving your returned items, we will examine the packaging and condition of the jewellery to see if you qualify for a return. If our inspection is satisfactory, we will notify you by email.
Step 4: A refund will be processed and issued to your original payment method as soon as possible and within 30 days of your cancelling the order.
How to exchange an item
We understand that it can be difficult to pick the right product online and you may wish to exchange your purchase. We are delighted to exchange your order provided the tamper-proof packaging has not been opened or damaged and the product is in its original condition.
Please follow the steps set above to obtain a RAC. Once we receive your order back and complete our inspection, we will contact you to arrange the alternative product to be delivered. You will be responsible for the subsequent shipping costs incurred.
We take pride in the high-quality jewellery we offer. Every single piece has been strictly checked for quality control before being sent out. However, if the goods you receive are not in perfect condition, and the defects are in the materials or are caused during the production process, we will repair the item and send it back to you free of charge. Please follow the returns procedure set above and obtain a RAC before you send back any goods.
All our jewellery is individually handcrafted giving each piece a unique finish.
We are unable to offer returns, refunds or exchanges on pierced earrings (or any other pierced jewellery) because of hygiene reasons.
Bespoke Special Orders or jewellery altered to a customer request CANNOT be exchanged or returned under any circumstances.
Items must be returned unworn, undamaged and in good and saleable condition.
All our jewellery comes with tamper-proof packaging. We cannot refund or exchange any returned items if their original tamper-proof packaging has been opened or damaged.
All returns must be sent using an insured recorded delivery service with tracking and scanning.
We do NOT refund the cost of postage, shipping or insurance.
Slim Barrett does NOT accept liability for any returned goods lost or damaged in the post.
Packages without an RAC number will unfortunately NOT be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
Returns outside the stated time frame will only be accepted at the discretion of Slim Barrett.
Refunds will only be made to the card used to purchase the goods with.
Credit and Debit Card refunds may take up to 10 working days for your bank to complete.
Slim Barrett does not accept liability for the length of time particular banks take to process refunds.
Customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. You may be able to recover these costs by contacting your local customs bureau directly.
