Slim Barrett's iconic Glass collection was designed in 1988.  It attracted the attention of British couturier Jan Van Vanvelden who commissioned pieces for his collection which he presented to the late Princess Diana.  Bruce Oldfield commissioned pieces for his couture collection and promotional campaign with Charlotte Rampling in British Vogue.
